Terms and Conditions

Placing an Order

Within the U.S.A. and Canada, use the purchase buttons on our item information pages to order from our website. You will receive an automatic carbon copy email of your order or quotation request. Alternately, you may order by phone using our toll-free number, by fax, or by emailing us at order@dansanna.com. Please include the name and model number of the items you are inquiring about, and your city, state/province and zip/postal code so we can calculate shipping costs. ALL PRODUCTS ARE SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM THE FACTORY.

Once you have placed your order, we will email or fax confirmation detailing all charges, including freight and installation (if not included within the offer). Orders will not be processed and sent to the manufacturer until full payment is received.

Under normal conditions, all products will ship within 2-4 weeks from the time we enter an order into the system. If you need your order more quickly, we will be happy to work with the manufacturer insofar as possible to achieve a shorter timeframe.

Order Cancellation

All goods ordered by the customer are manufactured to spec. The cancellation of an order that has been entered but has not yet begun production will be charged a 25% processing fee. We are not able to change or cancel orders that have already entered production. The customer assumes financial responsibility for the order once it has moved into the production phase.

Shipping and Installation

Most orders are shipped via common freight carrier (eg. Nesel, Western Logistics, Old Dominion, ABF, Roadway, etc.) Smaller quantity/volume orders are shipped via UPS ground. We will select the least expensive shipping method based on the size of your order and the destination, with consideration paid to quality care during transit. ALL PRODUCTS ARE SHIPPED DIRECTLY FROM THE FACTORY.

The freight delivery company will unload the goods to the curbside or loading dock. In most cases you will be required to move the order from the curb or dock into your home or business. If installation services are included in the contract, we will:

  1. Unload the product from the truck.
  2. Ensure the proper piece mount.
  3. Inspect the product for damage.
  4. Take the product to the correct staging area.
  5. Locate and install the product correctly.
  6. Complete all required assembly.
  7. Ensure that all products function correctly.
  8. Adjust the height of work surfaces as required.
  9. Make other minor adjustments and repairs as required.
  10. Remove packaging material from the site.

Shortages

Multiple-carton shipments may be separated during the transferring process at freight terminals. All deliveries will be accompanied by a freight delivery ticket to be signed. When your shipment arrives, count the number of cartons delivered and make sure it matches the number stated on the ticket. If there is a discrepancy, you must make a notation on the delivery ticket. Do not make assumptions or take the driver's word for it: once you have signed for the delivery, the driver's responsibility ends.

Goods Damaged in Transit

Do not sign for the delivery until you have thoroughly inspected all cartons for visible damage. If you notice damage to a shipping carton, open it and inspect the contents with the driver present. If the contents are damaged, refuse delivery of that carton and note it on the delivery ticket. If there is no apparent damage to the contents, note on the delivery ticket that you have accepted delivery of merchandise in damaged cartons. Make sure the driver signs the ticket. Keep your copy of the ticket in the event that you find concealed damage after the driver has left your location.

It is the customer's responsibility to file any damaged goods claim with Dansanna. You have 5 days to report concealed damage to us. Note however that once you have signed for the delivery, it becomes next to impossible to make a concealed damage claim against the freight company.

Returns

No returns will be accepted without prior authorization. All returns must be shipped to the originating factory prepaid, at customer's expense. Returned merchandise must be in new, resaleable condition and in the original packaging. Authorized returns will be charged a 25% restocking fee.

Warranty

The manufacturers represented by Dansanna offer 5- to 10-year warranties on most furniture products. These warranties cover manufacturing defects affecting the structural integrity of the furniture under normal usage conditions, but do not cover abuse, neglect, or acts of God.
